We are a small rural community in eastern McLean County, Illinois with a deep history going back to the early days of the railroad and horse drawn plows. Founded in 1871, our background and history have always been that of a small, quiet, and safe community where friends stand and talk over fences and children come home when the street lights come on.

McLean County Mobile Health Clinic is coming to Arrowsmith!

On April 1st the McLean Mobile Health Clinic (MMHC) will begin servicing Arrowsmith on the first Tuesday of each month. They will be parked at the Community Center from 11am to 4pm.
MMHC is a full service walk-in health clinic that can serve all ages and various needs of residents of the village...
The Village of Arrowsmith allows the operation of golf carts and some UTVs on village streets per village ordinance. 
Republic Services has requested that village residents utilize a new process for scheduling the pickup of bulk items that will not fit into their garbage receptacle. To schedule a bulk pickup, residents will now need to send an email to
