Golf Cart/UTV Permit Application

The Village of Arrowsmith requires yearly inspections/permits for all golf carts and ATV/UTV’s for them to operate on any village street by May 1st of each year. The village ordinance allowing these types of vehicles on Arrowsmith streets requires that these vehicles properly display a current year registration sticker and that they have been inspected by an approved village official to meet the requirements of the ordinance.

The included application will need to be filled out and submitted with the associated fees at the time of the inspection to be eligible to obtain a registration sticker. Registration fee amounts are outlined within the ordinance.

A copy of the village ordinance is included with this packet. Please read the entire ordinance as the vehicle owners and operators will be held responsible for following and adhering to the rules and guidelines associated with being allowed to operate this type of vehicle on village streets. Failure to comply with any of these requirements could result in a fine of up to $750.00. If your vehicle is seen or reported to be on village streets without a current sticker issued by the village you will receive an ordinance violation ticket. First time violations are $100.00 and will increase with each violation up to a maximum amount of $750.00.

Golf carts and ATV/UTV’s not displaying the appropriate sticker should not be operated on any village streets until a current sticker has been obtained. Doing so can subject you to tickets and fines.
